In the course of our dealings with you, we will collect and process personal information about you in order to provide you with the goods and services you request and to administer our relationship with you. This may involve the sharing of your personal information with other third parties and the transfer of your personal information overseas. This Privacy Policy describes in detail how we will use your personal information and how you can exercise your rights with respect to your personal information.

Prices

The prices for goods displayed for sale on this site are as set out on the site are including VAT. Delivery will be charged in addition, and any such additional charges are clearly displayed where they apply. Prices and delivery charges displayed are valid and effective only in the United Kingdom.

SelectWallpaper cannot accept your order until you have paid for it in full (including applicable delivery charges). Upon payment, we will confirm acceptance of your order by e-mail which will be sent to the e-mail address you provide on your order details. Whether or not you receive the e-mail, our acceptance of your order will create a legally binding contract between us. We reserve the right not to supply you at our discretion.

Return Policy For Products Purchased In-Store and Online:

Due to the bespoke nature of some of our products we are unable to issue refunds on items that have been cut for you, all made to measure products and part orders of wallpaper. This is why we always recommend ordering samples of fabrics and wallpapers before placing an order.

All other items may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Items must be returned undamaged and in their original packaging.   WALLPAPER ORDERS MAY ONLY BE RETURNED AS COMPLETE ORDERS.

Please inspect your items when you receive them.   For fabrics and wallpapers, please check you are happy prior to cutting or hanging.   If your order arrives damaged or faulty please let us know within 48 hours of delivery.
If the product is defective in any way or has a fault, a replacement or refund will be made as long as the product is in the same condition as dispatched and it is within seven days with the sales ticket and in the original packaging. Please note that you should check all wallpaper products for faults before and during hanging. If the product is defective in any way or has a fault, a full replacement or refund will be made at no charge. We also always recommend that you order a sample first to avoid any confusion regarding colour, scale of pattern, finish etc.

If the product has a fault a replacement or refund will be made as long as the product is in the same condition, in original packaging with labels as it was despatched and within 7 days.   

This is subject to the following conditions:

  1. Products which are made to measure, cut or mixed to your requirements cannot be exchanged or refunded (unless they are faulty)
  2. Single rolls of wallpapers and wallpaper sold in our bargain basement are non-returnable.
  3. You must provide your original sales receipt as proof of purchase. all refunds will be provided using the same method of payment as your purchase. If the purchase was made using a credit/debit card, the same card must be used for the refund.
  4. We may ask for identification (proof of address) to help combat fraud.

IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO READ THE HANGING INSTRUCTIONS ON THE MANUFACTURER’S

LABEL BEFORE YOU COMMENCE WITH THE JOB

Are you working in good lighting, cleanliness and temperature conditions? YES/NO

Are you sure that the goods are as ordered (pattern number, colour & design) and are free of faults? YES/NO

Does the colour and shading match on all rolls? Are they from the same batch? YES/NO

Do you have the correct hanging instructions and are you using the correct adhesive? YES/NO

After hanging 3 LENGTHS of paper, is the result satisfactory? YES/NO

Please note some papers are reverse rolled due to production methods, the way the paper comes off the roll is not necessarily the way it should be hung, ensure you check before hanging

If you have answered NO to any of the above checks or if you have any doubts, do not proceed with the job 

You should contact your supplier immediately. It becomes your responsibility if you fail to carry out these checks and no claims will be considered for cutting or hanging more than 3 lengths                               

THIS POLICY DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS

Any Returns honoured will be subject to a 20% re-stock and handling fee.   

Cancellation Policy
 
You have 24 hours to cancel or amend an order before being liable for re-stock and handling charges. Products made to order or cut to requirement are non returnable and can not be cancelled after the 24 hour grace period.

Samples

We strongly advise customers to purchase a sample (cost refundable) prior to purchasing rolls of wallpaper. Select Wallpaper cannot guarantee that the colour shown on screen is an accurate match due to different computer monitor settings. Ensuring the colour is correct is the responsibility of the customer. 

Faulty Products

If the product you purchase is faulty, we may offer a repair, exchange or refund as appropriate in accordance with your legal rights. Please call us on 01382 477000 to arrange.

We will require a cutting taken from each roll of wallpaper which shows evidence of any flaw or defect including the product label(s)

Claims

In all events the limit of liability for any faulty or defect in the product shall be to a sum not exceeding the purchase price of the particular goods, and the Seller shall not be held liable for any incidental or consequential loss howsoever arising.

General Conditions

We cannot guarantee that the appearance and/or colours of products shown on this site exactly reproduce the appearance and/or colours of the physical products themselves. Natural products may show some colour variations. All sizes quoted are approximate. Where SelectWallpaper agrees to provide a specifically designed plan, the Customer agrees to check the accuracy and suitability of the plan.

Successfully completing a purchase from SelectWallpaper.co.uk will result in us occasionally sending you our email newsletter (usually sent once per year). If you do not wish to receive our newsletter simply helpdesk@selectwallpaper.co.uk after purchasing asking to opt out.
