Anna French, with her husband John French, moved from London to a Victorian lace mill in Scotland to begin a fabric company in 1976. It took 18 years for the company to really take off, however, which it did when Anna produced the "Ready Teddy Go" children's collection in 1994. Anna's bold use of colour and original designs have ensured that Anna French collections continue to be in high demand to this day, and Anna's deep convictions about the strength of family, which have defined her life, remain true. Her son Jonathan and her daughter Sasha are both directors of Anna French Ltd.
