The National Trust 2

The National Trust was founded in 1895 to preserve places of historic interest or natural beauty for the nation to enjoy. In 1936 it started the "Country House Scheme" whereby great mansions that were under threat of closure due to high taxation were restored and saved as a significant part of our national heritage.

Zoffany and the National Trust (Enterprises) Limited have again collaborated to create an exclusive collection of wallpapers, based on historical documents found at Ham House, Erddig House, Packwood House and Nostell Priory.
