About Morris & Co Wallpaper

William Morris established the company in London around the 1860's, Sanderson purchased Morris & Co. including the showroom contents, the entire collection of wallpaper printing blocks, stock and complete colour records, including both unique logbooks and hundreds of 'matchpieces' (print templates) in 1927. The printing blocks are still used today.
