What forms of payment does Select Wallpaper accept?
Select Wallpaper accepts most major credit and debit cards including Visa, Switch, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo, Visa Electron, Delta, American Express; as well as providing an alternate payment gateway through PayPal and BACS (bank transfer).
Is your payment gateway secure?
Yes. Select Wallpaper.co.uk supports authentication throughout our Checkout procedure. The identity of our website has been verified by the USERTRUST Network, a certificate authority trusted for this purpose. Our SSL Certificate uses High-grade Encryption (AES-256 256 bit), meaning all Checkout pages are fully encrypted before being transmitted over the internet.
Our website is also monitored by McAfee Secure who test our website daily for any possible insecurities.
Has my order been received?
Customers will receive an email within minutes (usually instantly) confirming that the order has been received. When making a purchase you are also invited to open an account with us so that you may check the status of your order at any time simply by logging in to your account. We also welcome customers to telephone us to confirm their order has been received or dispatched if for any reason you are unable to access your email.
What if the wallpaper that I order is out of stock?
Select Wallpaper stocks approximately 80% of the wallpapers shown on web site, if your wallpaper is not in stock we will call you within 24 hours (usually quicker) A member of staff will let you know the expected date to complete your order or offer you a full refund.
Do you charge Value Added Tax on wallpaper?
All prices shown on Select Wallpaper have VAT already applied at 20%. (Orders for delivery outside the EU are free of UK VAT.)
Do you allow shipping to an address other than my own?
Yes. When making your purchase online you will be given the opportunity to enter both an invoice address and a shipping address. Whereever the order is sent however it must be signed for.
Do you accept cash on delivery, allowing me to pay for my wallpaper when I receive it?
All products must be paid for prior to delivery due to our wallpaper being delivered through a third-party courier service.
If the wallpaper is faulty, what is your returns policy?
In the event of a fault please send a sample of the product to us with the label(s).
We also ask that should your delivery arrive in a less than satisfactory condition, i.e the box has been damaged in transit, please note this when signing for the delivery. If you are able to take a photograph of the damaged box this would help us tremendously in our seeking a refund from the courier delivery company.
Can I return non faulty wallpaper?
You may return it in the same condition as dispatched within twenty-eight days and in the original packaging for a refund subject to a 25% re-stocking charge. (note) Returns are not accepted for quantities less than 2 rolls, (single rolls are non returnable) or wallpaper sold by the meter that has been specially cut to order. Wallcoverings like Grasscloth and Hessian cannot be exchanged or refunded (unless they are faulty)
The wallpaper I am looking for is not listed on your site. Can you help?
In most cases the answer is Yes. Please contact us with as much information as possible, for example Brand Name, Book Name, Pattern Number etc. The more information you can provide us with the quicker we will be able to respond to your request.
Can you supply fabrics to match my wallpaper?
We supply fabrics by all major brands currently found on our website so please telephone us to discuss your needs.
Is the wallpaper shown online an exact match of the physical product itself?
Ordering a sample of wallpaper is always recommended as the color shown on your computer screen may slightly vary from the physical product itself. When scanning our wallpaper we always try to ensure that the colour matches as closely as possible, however every computer monitor has different settings for brightness, contrast etc and as a result may appear to be a lighter or darker shade than it actually is. The cost of a sample is refunded if you later decide you would like to purchase the wallpaper.
Do Select Wallpaper participate in web site link exchange programs?
We only provide links to companies with whom we are associated with or trade with on a regular basis. Link exchange requests for websites and/or companies that we are not associated with will be ignored.
When I add a product to my basket the basket still shows as empty. What am I doing wrong?
This issue was related to AOL Internet users only has now been resolved. If your basket is still showing as empty after adding a product please contact us.
What size are the samples?
We try to provide samples A4 or larger, if we provide a sample smaller than A4 we refund your sample cost.
